An 11-Day Intensive Workshop for Actors
About the Workshop
This workshop is designed for actors who want to go beyond speaking lines clearly and explore how voice and text can become a pathway into acting.
Across 11 days, participants will work through body, breath and voice to discover how speech can emerge from thought, impulse and intention. The focus is on developing a more connected and embodied approach to performance, where words are not delivered but lived in the moment.
The process is immersive and practice-driven. Exercises function as both tools and starting points—helping actors identify blocks, expand their vocal and expressive range, and deepen their relationship with the written word.
What You Will Explore:
- Connecting body, breath and voice as a unified instrument
- Speaking text as thought and action, not memorised delivery
- Working with different layers of text—meaning, structure and imagery
- Developing presence, subtext and responsiveness in performance
- Exploring how voice interacts with space, partner and audience
Who Is This For:
Actors and performers who are interested in deepening their craft and developing a more integrated relationship with voice, text and performance.
The workshop will culminate in a sharing/performance, approached as an extension of the process.
Note:
This is a small, process-driven workshop with limited seats to ensure focused and individual attention.
