South African singer-songwriter Amy Tjasink brings her vibrant storytelling and uplifting sound to the stage for a special live performance at café Roux!Amy has captured hearts across the country with her soaring vocals and heartfelt songwriting, most recently with her smash collaboration “Feels Like Mzansi” alongside the legendary Mango Groove. The song ,a modern re-imagining inspired by the classic “Special Star” , celebrates the spirit, warmth and rhythm of South Africa, blending nostalgic African influences with contemporary pop and quickly becoming a radio favourite nationwide.
Riding the wave of this success, Amy has continued to expand her creative footprint. She is also the co-founder of Pretty Loud, a women-focused movement and creative hub championing female voices in the music industry and creating space for collaboration, empowerment and growth.
In between performances and advocacy work, Amy has been hard at work crafting her upcoming album , a collection of home-grown songs inspired by life, love and the South African spirit. Audiences at café Roux will get an exclusive first listen, as Amy teases brand-new material alongside the songs fans already know and love.
