About this Event
Amy D.’s innate ability to carry lyrics and capture the essence of a song can be traced back to her early years. Hearing the sense of longing in romantic music from The Great American Songbook to The Quiet Storm's R&B slow jams, she found her own timeless sound.
In a special concert on February 8th at The Sound Room, Amy presents “All About Love,” depicting the many aspects of love woven through a diverse selection of romantic songs and spoken word.
Come discover a new found appreciation of what love can be in our relationships, family, and society inspired by the powerful, thought-provoking messages from bell hooks’ acclaimed novel All about love and Amy's own quest to define love and its multidimensional nature.
Featuring: Amy D, voice; Jeff Goodkind, piano; Etienne David Franc, bass; Jason Lewis, drums. +Special Guests
