The Rocky Mountain Listening Room is a music venue that appreciates music by offering a listening environment to artists. (Think quiet like an art gallery!). Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult (tickets required), pending they are able to stay seated and quiet for the duration of the show.

Opener in-the-round spotlight songwriters with Amy Bishiop, Garry Stickel & Veronica Raine
Veronica Raine is an indie folk singer-songwriter from Southern Alberta. She began publicly performing at thirteen, crafting emotionally honest songs rooted in vivid personal storytelling, with influences ranging from Eddie Vedder to Joni Mitchell. Her debut single received radio play across Canada, marking an early national reach for her work. Veronica has been featured on 88.1’s Southern Alberta Songwriter Showcase, reached the Elite Eight round in the YYC Songwriter Showdown, and participated in The Calgary Songsmiths Vol. 3. She is known for her emotional vulnerability and her ability to form deep connections with audiences.
Garry Stickel is a seasoned singer-songwriter whose roots run deep in the heart of rural Alberta. A lifelong writer, he weaves lyrically rich stories with quiet wisdom, clarity, and strength, all set within a country, roots, and blues framework that is as uniquely personal as it is easy to embrace. Many of Garry’s songs reflect his rural upbringing, inviting listeners to take a journey through Alberta’s landscapes and history while connecting their own memories to his. His music is defined by an authenticity and originality that can only come from someone so deeply embedded in the traditions and rhythms of his surroundings
