Kentucky-born and Los Angeles-based, Amtrac — born Caleb Cornett — is one of electronic music's most distinctive and versatile artists. A producer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, and founder of the Openers label, his sound weaves together handcrafted textures across house, deep house, melodic techno, and indie dance, all grounded in an approach that prizes pure, deliberate artistry above all else.

Since his acclaimed 2011 debut Came Along, Amtrac has built an expansive discography across originals, remixes, and EPs, earning praise from Billboard, Mixmag, i-D Magazine, and more. His remix work has become a coveted commodity — artists on labels from Interscope and Def Jam to Defected and Ministry of Sound have all requested the Amtrac treatment. Most recently, he released his Generator EP in February 2025 on Anjunadeep, drawing support from WhoMadeWho, Adriatique, and Kollektiv Turmstrasse. His live show is just as dynamic — synthesizers, live vocals, and visuals woven into a set that's always something different.
