Álvaro Torres, a Spanish pianist and composer based in New York, trained at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music. His work blends contemporary jazz, improvisation, and a strong classical foundation. With several albums released on labels such as Sunnyside Records and Fresh Sound New Talent, Torres is a regular collaborator with leading musicians on the New York scene. His music is distinguished by melodic sensitivity and a bold exploration of new sonic textures.
