About this Event

We will be providing a 2 day Learn to Surf Clinics for the "wounded warriors" as part of the Rockaway Warriors Weekend . Veterans will be coming with Hope for the Warriors, so interested participants are encouraged to register with Hope for the Warriors to participate. Volunteers are needed all days of the event, but inwater instruction will only be on the 11th and 12th. More detailed information for volunteers can be found below. We will need Instructors, Water assist, Beach support, Booth help and more.

AmpSurf’s mission is to Promote, Inspire, Educate, and Rehabilitate (PIER™) all people with disabilities and their families through adaptive surfing and other outdoor activities to keep them focused on their abilities, not their disabilities.
