About this Event

This 3 hour workshop will give you practical tools to craft clear, compelling messages, write press releases, prepare for interviews, and start building your own media strategy.

Bring a project or piece of work you’d like to develop, work alongside peers, and leave with templates, a starter media contact list, and actionable steps you can put into practice straight away.

You’ll walk away with:

  • Clear key messages you can confidently use across different platforms
  • A practical understanding of how the media works and how to engage with it
  • A simple press release structure you can adapt and reuse
  • Increased confidence in handling media conversations and interviews
  • A starting point for a media approach that fits your organisation and capacity
