Join Stream Team as we survey for amphibian egg masses this winter! Get hands-on experience monitoring and identifying amphibian eggs in their natural habitats. These monitoring events help us to better understand amphibian population trends in our urban ponds.We will provide training and guidance on identification and survey methods in the field. If you have your own waders, please bring them. If not, we can provide waders on site.
To ensure volunteer and staff safety:
Survey groups will be limited to 6 participants, ages 14 and up.
Surveys will be outdoors, please dress warmly and in layers.
Equipment will be sanitized between uses.
NOTE: Survey will be rescheduled if there is persistent freezing weather. We will contact you via email if this should happen.
