Let's fall in love on the dance floor next Sunday at Dance Temple Ottawa as we journey in "Amor" with Drez Slezak.
We will be serving cacao for a heart opening experience.
See you there!

About Ecstatic Dance
Ecstatic dance is a freeform movement experience where you can dance however you like, free from judgment or expectations. It’s a space to connect with music, let go of stress, and move in a way that feels good for you. With no talking on the dance floor, the focus is on self-expression, enjoyment, and being present in the moment. Whether you’re there to unwind or simply have fun, ecstatic dance is for everyone—no experience needed!

About Drez
Drez Slezak is a DJ/Producer, Costa Rica born and based out of Ottawa, Canada. Drez is inspired by earth healing
sounds and rhythms that tap into the psyche and allow participants to sink deep into a state of flow. Drez has been
djing for 8+ years taking patrons on a journey through the depths of the downtempo.
You can expect a unique and fun musical set flow that weaves ambient, latin american influence, psychedelic bass
and so much more.
Following his self released debut single called “Let Go”, the Flow EP was born and found a home with the Ottawa
based music label called Music.Art.Ppl.
His most recent release titled, “Growing Sage” was released on iconic conscious music record label “ High Vibe
Records” alongside artists such as Mose, Skysia, Temple Step Project, Ruby Chase, Morillo and so much more.
Drez is also the founder of Sonic Springs Music Festival and Co-Founder of Sonic Yoga, a yoga and music
collaboration where sound healing instruments and techniques are used within a DJ set to accompany movement and meditation.

DANCE TEMPLE GUIDELINES (PLEASE READ)
THE FLOW: Please arrive on time so we can begin the journey together. We start and end in silence. Upon entering the space, please enter quietly and sync with the energy. After the session, stay in silence until further instructions or a closing circle.
DANCING AND CONSENT: When dancing with others, always be aware of consent through body language and eye contact. A person’s openness to dance may vary during the session or from week to week. At any time, you or your partner may choose to end the dance by stepping away or bowing with hands in prayer.
TALKING: Please refrain from talking on the dance floor, as it helps everyone dive deeper into the experience. If you need to converse, please do so in the foyer. If you notice someone talking, feel free to gently remind them with a gesture.
KIDS: Parents, kindly keep your children close (within arm's reach). If the space is quiet, especially during the opening or closing moments, please guide your children into silence. If that’s difficult, please take them outside or to the foyer to avoid distracting others.
PHYSICAL BOUNDARIES: Respect each other's personal space and be mindful of your own boundaries. Feel free to communicate your needs. If you’d like to engage in physical touch, like hugs, please ask first.
ENERGETIC BOUNDARIES: Ecstatic Dance can heighten energy and awareness. Be conscious of this and avoid staring or observing other dancers too intensely. If your focus is elsewhere, bring your energy back to yourself by asking, "Where is my awareness now?"
CELL PHONE USE: Please avoid using your phone on the dance floor. If necessary, use your device in the foyer.
SWEATING: If you plan to sweat heavily, bring a towel and clean the area around you as needed. If the floor becomes wet from sweat, stop and clean up before continuing.
SCENT-FREE SPACE: Please avoid wearing perfumes or strong scents.
SCREAMING: While sounds and expressive releases are welcome, be considerate of others. Continuous loud noises or screaming may disrupt others’ focus.
FOOTWEAR: Please dance barefoot or wear indoor shoes in the dance space.
IN CLOSING:
Please arrive early or on time to journey together.
Bring a water bottle.
Breathe, take care of yourself, and be mindful of others and the environment.
Wear comfortable clothing for movement.
Be ready to sweat.
