Biography:
Compulsive rhythms, raw basslines, and atmospheric synth sounds. These are key components of Amo’s choice when it comes to molding his unique sound. Born and raised in Stavanger, Norway. The Berlin-based DJ varies between House and Techno with all the added sub-genres that fit with the mood and setting.
Sometimes faster, sometimes slower. After a decade-long journey, his taste for complex and unique music has grown immensely through the years. Mostly from sitting on his own, digging deep into new records, the myriad of different labels, and
the abundance of great artists that he’s been privileged to work with and experience. Amo is always on the search for something new that continues to amaze him.
His performances at multiple venues, clubs, and festivals in Norway were where he realized his potential to grow and evolve in the industry, and this was when he saw the need to continue his journey elsewhere. Since relocating to Berlin, he’s been
performing at events and festivals around Europe, such as Garbicz, Bucht Der Träumer, Conscious Madness, and Lusatia Festival. Also at renowned Berlin clubs such as Kater Blau, Renate, Mensch Meier, Sage Beach, gARTn, Abstrakt, Re:mise, Birgit & Bier, Klunkerkranich, Beate Uwe, and other famous German clubs such as Bahnwärter Thiel and Mjut.
In 2022, he had the honor of joining the well-known underground label ‘WUZA’ as an artist, then shortly after, becoming part of the management. This led to Amo building an even bigger presence in the industry in Central Europe, and thereafter, he started
being invited to music conferences and panels to talk about his journey and the knowledge he’d gathered so far. During those same years, Amo also found the motivation to finally start his own project named 'Euforique,' which he finally kicked
off at the start of 2024. An initiative focused on promoting primarily unseen talents that Berlin’s music enthusiasts deserve to experience. He is currently keeping busy hosting events locally and internationally. Besides working on his project and DJing,
he is working hard in the studio, crafting music for the next frontier of his career.
