About this Event
Our Central England Gathering is for anyone concerned about threats to human rights here in the UK and across the world, who wants to find out more about what they can do help.
Whether you're an Amnesty activist, an online supporter, someone from another group, or just curious about human rights, all are welcome. Our focus will be on information, inspiration and action – helping people to find out more and then take what they have learned and put it into practice.
Together, we'll be exploring how we can make a difference, including:
- Campaigning for refugees, victims of conflicts like Gaza and prisoners of conscience
- Championing people’s rights regardless of race, disability, gender or sexuality
- Persuading UK politicians to put our human rights at the heart of their decisions.
