Followed by a screening of the award-winning documentary film Amma’s Pride and Q&A discussion with the film’s participants- Srija her mother Valli and her partner Arun whose powerful story of love resilience and legal triumph has resonated with audiences worldwide. Directed by Shiva Krish Amma’s Pride follows Valli’s journey as she supports her trans daughter Srija through love marriage and the fight for its legal recognition in Tamil Nadu.
