HOLD THE DATES & MAKE PLANS.....Here are the highlights to this adventure.Additional info planned in comments.
It's another "On the road adventure" with the Jeep Charity Riders.
Our adventure is taking us to Amish Country at Shipshewana, Indiana.
This picture perfect area of rolling hills, farms, the incredible food, crafts, quilts, handcrafted furniture, horse-buggies and so much more. You will love everything Amish!
We will join together with an Amish family for a scrumptious dinner on Friday night (28th, 5:30pm), Saturday a picturesque country Jeep ride together, visit dairy & cheese stores, craft shops and more. Saturday night join us as some gather for a concert with an Alabama tribute band at Blue Gate PAC.
There are plenty of options to join together or self guide through town.
**If you would like to join in with the group at the Amish dinner, this fee will need to be paid for prior to June 23rd. Please see comments on payment info.
(This is to ensure we give an accurate headcount also)
Lodging: you are welcome to find an air b&b, hotel etc. We will add suggested locations for lodging shortly.

I just made the decision… i assume u guys are staying at the Blue Gate Hotel….
Alright so adding in a possible potty break along the way we will have aprox. Little under a 3hr drive. So we will meet at our normal meet up location in Shorewood to start…
Dinner with the Amish family starts at 5:30pm
Target - Rte. 59 Shorewood at 1:00pm
(If you live east like Bolingbrook, Orland Park etc. let us know and we will establish a second stop).
This will get us all there for 4pm, give everyone a chance to get checked in to where ever they are staying and then meet back up at 4:45 (we will leave at 5pm) from the

And convoy over. “Please use caution on the streets… there will be horse and buggy we do not want to cause danger or spook the horses. Also, many of the Amish will be using bicycles and scooters along the sides of the roads.
This is a very chilled out enjoy a break weekend with no real set schedule other than browsing town, a couple key dairy/bakery stops & a beautiful country Jeep Ride on Saturday.
