Info: Alex Barrotti is a successful serial tech entrepreneur. In 1997, when others doubted online shopping would one day become the norm, Alex founded INEX Corp. developing a novel turnkey solution that enabled store owners to easily design and rapidly deploy web storefronts from ready-made templates. INEX was later sold to InfoSpace Inc. for $45 USD Million to bolster InfoSpace’s e-commerce strategy. In 2010, Alex founded TouchBistro and developed a pioneer mobile restaurant Point-of-Sale (POS) app for the iPad that had just been introduced. Today, TouchBistro is a top selling POS deployed to over 25,000 restaurants in more than 100 countries. TouchBistro has raised over $300 million CAD across multiple funding rounds. In 2017, Alex was named by Hispanic Business Alliance as one of the 10 most influential Hispanic Canadians.
