On July 4, 2026, the Hancock Historical Museum will host "America's Birthday Bash", a free, Fun for All celebration marking the 250th anniversary of American independence. This one-time event will transform our traditional Ice Cream Social into a vibrant, inclusive "birthday party for America", featuring:- Free Dietsch's ice cream, root beer floats, and birthday cake for all!
- Expanded hours and programming: live music, patriotic crafts, games, and interactive history experiences
- Community birthday sing-along and ceremonial cake cutting

This is the largest, free, and most patriotic America 250 celebration in the community. This is a Fun for All event, generously sponsored by the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation. Join us at the Hancock Historical Museum after the Flag City 4th of July Parade.
The Hancock Historical Museum is an easy walk from the Main Street parade route, and facilities will be open with free, family-friendly activities!
