🔹 Hope Works takes viewers on an inspiring journey through the eyes of emerging young filmmakers in Washington, D.C. Trained by American University students, these young storytellers document the transformative impact of the Run Hope Work (RHW) program on their peers. Over four months, they not only learn filmmaking skills but also capture powerful stories of personal growth, resilience, and hope.
✨ Hope Works was made possible by an AU Humanities Truck Grant and the support of FMA graduate and undergraduate student mentors in the School of Communication at American University. These mentors worked with youth from across the city for six months in 2023 and 2024 to bring this documentary to life.
