Join us April 30–May 2, 2026, at the American Royal Complex for three nights of top-tier rodeo action. Performances begin at 7:00 p.m. each night (doors open at 6:00 p.m.). Watch as cowboys and cowgirls compete in fan-favorite events like bull riding, barrel racing and mutton bustin’.Make it a full night at the Royal. Arrive early for food, drinks, games and vendors in the Tailgate Beer Garden, then stay after each performance for live music and dancing.
The Tailgate Beer Garden is free and open to the public. No rodeo ticket required.

Join us early for Derby coverage, a hat contest, mint juleps and food trucks. Post time is 5:57 p.m., just in time to head into the rodeo when doors open at 6:00. The Derby party is also free and open to the public.
