Join us as we welcome Rick Atkinson, author of The Fate of the Day: The War for America, Fort Ticonderoga to Charleston, 1777–1780, to speak about the middle years of the Revolution.

Drawing from his latest book, Atkinson explores various historical figures, his research process, and the significance of the American Revolution as we approach the 250th anniversary of American independence.

Speaker bio:

Rick Atkinson is the New York Times bestselling author of seven previous works of history, including The Long Gray Line, the Liberation Trilogy, and The British Are Coming, the first volume of the Revolution Trilogy. He has won numerous awards, including Pulitzer Prizes for history and journalism. His latest book is The Fate of the Day.
