Join us on Opening Night of the 10th Annual Houston Latino Film Festival for the Texas Premiere of AMERICAN PACHUCO: THE LEGEND OF LUIS VALDEZ. From founding a revolutionary theater troupe alongside César Chávez to bringing the Mexican American experience to mainstream America with Zoot Suit and La Bamba, Luis Valdez has become the godfather of Chicano theater and film, breaking boundaries and expanding America’s story. The screening will be followed by an on-stage conversation with director David Alvarado and Zoot Suit actor, Daniel Valdez!
