Meet at 09:00 for 09:30 departure to the racecourse which is only a five minute drive away. This will allow us to be in and parked before the gates open to the public at 10:00.
Calling all American car owners in Motafrenz. Especially owners of vehicles from the Chrysler Corporation. Let us dazzle with our colourful presence at the annual Shannons American Motoring Show organised by the AOMC. This show is open to all classic and historic vehicles manufactured in North America. This year's theme is 100 years of Chrysler. The Show will be held at the Mornington Racecourse, Racecourse Road, Mornington. The gates open at 09:00 until 11:00 for display cars and at 10:00 for spectators. The organisers would prefer club displays to arrive together, so we will meet at Bunnings Warehouse - corner of Nepean Highway and Bungower Road Mornington - and continue on to the racecourse in convoy.
BRING: Your North American made car, your family and friends, rugs, chairs and any other picnic paraphernalia to make your day more comfortable. As it is high summer, don’t forget your hat and high factor sun cream. You may wish to bring your own drinks and food but there will be catering on site for those who prefer to buy their lunch. Cash for the entry fee may be useful.

ROADS: Sealed – Freeway & main roads
PETS: Dogs are allowed into the display area, subject to their being always restrained on a lead.
COST: Display cars $15.00 (passengers included), spectators $10.00, plus the cost of any refreshments or items you may choose to buy.
