The American Legion Kansas Post 199 family will be hosting its annual Independence Day celebration.If you are a member of the American Legion family or are a veteran (or family member) and would like to join, please come celebrate America's birthday with us.
Schedule:
12:45pm > A GRAND SALUTE to AMERICA!
• Taps
• Pledge of Allegiance
• Revisit the historic signing
1:00pm > Lunch
• The Sons of the American Legion is providing FREE hamburgers and hotdogs w/chips
2:00pm > LET’S EAT CAKE!
• We will cut America’s Birthday Cake
8:30pm > Fireworks
• The American Legion will provide fireworks for kids, and kids can bring their own!
Our post has an indoor bar, pool table, outdoor grill, and covered patio area. Smoking is allowed inside the building.
The American Legion Kansas Post 199 is a local members-only club for the American Legion, the Sons of the American Legion, and the American Legion Auxiliary. Membership is open to veterans and their families.
