Adults and children are invited to celebrate America’s 250th birthday together! The afternoon event will begin with crafts and activities in the Meeting House, followed by a delightful tea party in the historic 1771 Phelps Tavern Tea Room. Guests will learn about the history of tea in America and tea etiquette. Geared towards children ages 6 and over, guests are encouraged to bring their favorite doll(s). Colonial dress is welcome! Light tea time sandwiches and desserts will be served. Tickets are $40 per person. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Advance registration required.
