PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION
The American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) Woman of the Year program was designed to annually recognize a local member who has made notable contributions and outstanding achievements to their ABWA league, profession and the community. It’s a great honor - one that’s highly respected by ABWA members.
Since its inception in 1953, ABWA has recognized hundreds of women for the coveted award, the Top Ten Business Women of ABWA. This award is intended to underscore a member’s professional accomplishments (career advancement and academic achievement), contributions to her community and engagement in ABWA. The Top Ten Business Women of ABWA are selected by three business women from the Kansas City area whereas the American Business Woman of ABWA is selected by a panel of peers at the National Women’s Leadership Conference. The 2027 American Business Woman of ABWA will be announced at the National Women’s Leadership Conference.
The Community Spotlight Award is given to a local business woman who contributes to her community and supports business women personally and professionally!
"Ways to Pay":
(1) Members & Guests: Email me your very timely RSVP to [email protected] and an invoice with a LINK to pay will be emailed to you by VP of Finance; OR
(2) Members Only | Sign the Meal Plan & get on Auto Invoice each month with VP of Finance; OR
(3) Members & Guests: Pay in-line/at-the-door on Wednesday at the meeting (but still MUST RSVP by the Friday noon deadline.)
Remember, NO LATE FEES but all payment is due at time of the meeting if you timely RSVP'd absent cancellation! If you RSVP, and do not show up (NO SHOW) or cancel the day of the meeting – you will be sent an invoice for your lunch to be paid immediately.
