Join members of CARRI and HPEC for a hands-on presentation about the American Barn Owl and the research that members of CARRI are doing to help increase their numbers by constructing and placing nest boxes for them.
American Barn Owls have been in decline for many years due to loss of habitat and loss of nesting sites. Members of CARRI have designed a special nest box just for American Barn Owls which is larger than any box out there. These boxes ensure that American Barn Owls can raise their families in a safe environment.
Attendees will also learn about the courtship, nesting habits, growth of the young and more. See you on the 2nd.
