Join our America 250 Parade & Block party to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence!
The parade will begin at Heritage Middle School on Kansas Street and proceed east toward the Liberty Square. It will turn north onto Missouri Street, west onto Franklin Street, and conclude at Rotary Plaza (located at the corner of Gallatin Street and Franklin Street). Larger floats may continue west on Franklin Street and return to Heritage Middle School for dispersal.
General Parade Entry:
The entry fee is $50 and 100% of proceeds benefit the Liberty Community Christmas Tree Program.
Children’s Bicycle Freedom Ride:
Children are encouraged to decorate their bicycles and ride in the parade (we ask that parents accompany riders under the age of 8). Riders will be lined up towards the front of the parade and may exit the parade to join their families at any point along the parade route. There is no cost for participation in the children’s Bicycle Freedom Ride.
