Celebrate America 250 with a community bike parade for kids through historic downtown Danville 🚲🇺🇸Join us for a fun and creative patriotic Kids Bike Parade down Mill Street! Decorate your bike, wear a costume, and ride along with friends for an afternoon full of excitement and community spirit.
Route & Timing
Start: Montour County Courthouse (base of Mill Street closure)
Finish: Canal Park (street closure continues to Route 11)
Participation Guidelines
Kiddos ages 10 and under
Non-motorized, wheeled or push bikes only (scooters welcome; no electric bikes or scooters)
Helmets are required for all participants
Parents/guardians are encouraged to assist younger riders
Children age 6 and under must be accompanied by a guardian
Accommodations will be available for children with special needs
Giveaways & Fun
Creativity is encouraged: decorate your bike and dress up! Helmets to the first 50 kids; all kiddos receive patriotic ribbons for participating and celebrating America 250!

$5 registration fee
Advance online registration required
Participation limited to the first 100 children in the parade
A release form must be signed at check-in
Even if you’re not riding, everyone is welcome to join us at Canal Park for festivities following the parade. Come out and celebrate with the community! 🎉
