Come join us for a day filled with sing, dance, and act at Ítaca, Complejo Teatral in AMDA Day in Buenos Aires! This in-person event will bring together AMDA enthusiasts for a day of fun and creativity. Whether you're a seasoned performer or just starting out, there's something for everyone at AMDA Day. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with fellow artists and celebrate the magic of performing arts in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires. Oh! And you will also go home with a Certificate of Completion provided by AMDA, that shows that you participated in one of our events!

Welcome to the AMDA Open Workshop!
We’re bringing AMDA to you!
AMDA is coming to your hometown, and we’re giving passionate theatre lovers the chance to experience what it’s like to be in an AMDA classroom!
This exciting workshop will be led by the amazing Rodrigo Varandas, an AMDA alum who has built an impressive international career in musical theatre, television, and film. His stage credits include Mamma Mia!, Kinky Boots, Shrek, Peter Pan (tour), and Funny Girl (tour). He has also appeared in productions such as General Hospital, Grey’s Anatomy, A Friend of the Family, and Extraction 2.
📅 Workshop Details:
Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We’ll have a lunch break during the day, so be sure to pack something to eat — and don’t forget to bring plenty of water!
We start at 10:00 AM sharp, so please arrive at least 15–30 minutes early.

🕺 What to Expect:
The day will be divided into three dynamic sessions:
- Dance Workshop
- Musical Theatre Workshop
- Acting Workshop
We’ll begin with a fun, energizing warm-up to get our bodies moving, our voices ready, and our minds focused. It’s all about letting go of anything holding us back so we can give our best selves.
🎶 Dance Workshop
We’ll be learning a combo, so wear clothes you’re comfortable dancing (and sweating!) in.
And again — bring LOTS of water!
🎭 Musical Theatre & Acting Workshops
Students who have a prepared monologue or song will have the chance to workshop it with Rodrigo.
Unfortunately, we won’t have time for everyone to perform — but don’t worry! This is a great opportunity to learn by watching, so bring a notebook and take it all in.
If you’d like to participate:
- Please bring a memorized piece
- For songs, have your karaoke track ready on your phone
- We may not get through the full piece, but it’s always better to be overprepared than underprepared!
