About this Event
In his talk at the Cambridge Centre for Geopolitics, Ambassador Patriota will discuss Brazil's foreign policy and its priorities, and how the country developed its unique blend of respect for international law, a preference for the peaceful resolution of conflicts and a commitment to diplomacy as a means for improving global cooperation.
This event is jointly organised with the Cambridge University Brazilian Society.
The event will be followed by a drinks reception.

'Antonio de Aguiar Patriota is the current Ambassador of Brazil to the United Kingdom. He was Ambassador of Brazil to the United States from 2007 to 2009, Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2011 to 2013 and Permanent Representative of Brazil to the United Nations from 2013 to 2016. He was also Ambassador to Italy and Egypt.
