Past Present Future Publishing invites you to our FREE book launch party for , the latest book in the illustrated Amazing Iowa biography series. From astronomers to zoologists, this book introduces readers to 100+ diverse Iowa scientists who have made fascinating discoveries and significant contributions to their fields. Each page and portrait promises to spark your interest and pique your curiosity!
At the party, visit craft stations where kids can mix art and science for special take-home treasures and purchase a copy of the book to be signed by special guests (including the author!). $1 of the sale of every Amazing Iowa Scientists book goes to the Science Center of Iowa.
The party is free with donations of any kind appreciated. Registration helps us make sure we won't run out of supplies! Doors open at 4 and a short program starts at 4:15. When you arrive, please be sure to use the East entrance by the Foucault pendulum. Also, don't forget to check out the Mini Maker Faire from 9-4 at the Science Center that ends just before our launch party!
