About this Event
Peace with Intentionality
January’s Amani Exchange anchors on the principle of Amani—peace, rooted in the Swahili and Arabic aman, meaning safety, trust, and freedom from fear.
Anani Exchange promotes:
- Nonviolence as discipline and practice
- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy as living action
- Peace as something designed, curated, and shared
- Visual art foregrounded as reflection, healing, and memory
