After years of hiatus, the Bosnian event of the year is finally back. Starting in 1996, the Bosnian community in London hosted a charity tournament that brought teams, families, and friends together from across North America. For our community, it was more than just soccer, but a reunion that made us feel closer to home.
Starting this April, the Bosnian Canadian Association is honoured to carry this legacy forward because we learned this is what being Bosnian Canadian is! And it is our way of saying thank you to the community leaders that worked tirelessly before us.
As we step into this new chapter of the Djeci Šehida London Turnir, we wanted to give it a name we felt honoured its past, while representing our promise to continue the legacy.
So, we announce BCA’s Amanet Charity Cup! We look forward to seeing you there.
