THIS IS A MALAMUTE ONLY WEIGHTPULL2 days of breed specific weightpull held in conjunction with the AMAEP/AMCA Mid-East Specialties. Weight Pull starts after breed judging every day and goes until we have a winner! Since this event is held with the Alaskan Malamute Mid-East Speciality this is a Malamute only weightpull. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't come watch if you don't have a malamute! There will plenty of knowledge and experienced weightpull handlers who can help you get started in weightpull. As long as your dog has an AKC or CKC (Canada) number, is registered as a malamute, and is over 1 year old they are welcome to come pull with us as well. (a novice class will be offered if you're just getting started). The PAL registration is a great way for purebred malamutes without an AKC number to get involved in performance and companion sports.
