AM Advanced DJ Summer Camp:
Looking to improve your DJ Skills & Performance and challenge your music production knowledge? Then join us for the popular Advanced DJ Summer Camp from the AM Project! This camp’s environment encourages creativity and challenges young artists who are interested in taking their love for music to the next level.
Students will begin on Pioneer’s SRs and will transition to CDJs and Turntables. Along with learning new techniques and equipment, student DJs will have a class on advanced music production and the marketing side of DJ’ing, the process, and experience the knowledge from some of the best DJ’s around. Camp will also include outdoor activities, an art workshops, and guest speakers.
Camp Details:
Advanced DJ Summer Camp is for kids familiar with DJ’ing and Music Production. This session will challenge their DJ’ing skills and introduce them to new hardware and software features. We will also focus on their branding, promotions, social media / music platforms to share their music. Along with the correct set up and approach a DJ should take for promotions, they will learn the fundaments to setting up equipment and managing sound. In addition to the digital component of class, we’ll introduce how AI can assist an artist with inspiration and their art. Camp concludes with an amped-up audio experience, “After Party” where each DJ performs an original track / DJ set they have produced, to showcase their newly learned skills and talents to family and friends.
