š¶ Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 18, 2026, 7 a.m.-11 a.m. (the walk starts at 8:15 am), Oronoco Bay Park, 100 Madison St, Alexandria, VA. Thatās when weāll strut our stuff at the 5th annual ALX Dog Walk!New this year, collaboration with the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria solidifies this event's sustainability focus, fueled by our community's love of animals!
Walkers should arrive between 7 and 8 am, grab coffee and baked treats, enjoy the festivities, and the 2-mile dog walk starts promptly at 8:15 am and followed by an amazing Park celebration!
Dog lovers (with or without a pup!) will take a 2-mile dog walk down historic Union St. in Old Town Alexandria, looping back along the Potomac River to Oronoco Bay Park for a Sustainability Festival filled with eco-friendly and animal-related organizations.
Every participant receives a goodie bag filled with a sustainably sourced T-shirt and dog bandana, and eco-friendly treats.
