Bio: After graduating with a BFA from the University of Houston School of Theatre & Dance, I spent a couple years bopping around the city as an independent scenic artist and props artisan, among other stagehand positions. Now having spent the last 5 years as mostly an electrician with IATSE Local 4 of Brooklyn and Queens, I am pleased to have this opportunity to discuss some tips towards stability, healthcare, technical resumes, and the unionism I have experienced over the years working in this tireless and ever-evolving industry.
