Info: El Museo del Barrio presents Sophie Rivera: Double Exposures, opening April 23, 2026. This exhibition celebrates the pioneering photographer’s work, highlighting her role in Nuyorican culture and her historic connection to the museum. Featuring portraits, documentary images, self-portraits, and photos of New York scenes, it explores themes of identity and multiplicity.

Info: The Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra presents ALJO + Strings, a gripping concert that reimagines the canon of Latin jazz. The program includes never-before-heard orchestrations of works by Chico O'Farrill, new compositions by Arturo O'Farrill, and fresh arrangements that combine the power of the rhythm section with the emotional depth of the string textures. This performance is presented in collaboration with Carnegie Hall's United in Sound festival: America at 250.
