Alternative School is back at Northern Lights on June 6 for Open Index, featuring a headline set from Alan Oldham aka DJ T-1000. Known as Detroit's Renaissance Man, Alan has been a pillar of the scene since the beginning, from hosting WDET's first electronic show to creating the iconic visual identity for Underground Resistance. Now based in Berlin with residencies at Tresor and RSO, his work bridges the raw energy of the Motor City with the precision of the Berlin underground. Whether it's the mechanical futurism of his X-313 project or the high velocity energy he's pushed through his Pure Sonik label, his impact is fundamental.Augustus Williams and DJ I.V. round out the indoor room, guiding the night from early movement into late-hour pressure. On the patio, Tammy Lakkis brings her signature hardware-driven pulse and melodic control, with Max Watts and Sugar opening things up in a b2b set you won't want to miss.
From inside to outside and back again, Open Index moves through every corner of the night. Built for movement, connection, and the people who give these gatherings their energy. See you there.
