This project guides artists through the creative process of transforming an ordinary book into a personal visual journal, all while reflecting on the idea of shifting perspectives in our own lives. Altered books are a mixed-media art form in which a book is reshaped, physically or conceptually, into something entirely new. Participants may draw, paint, collage, write poetry, or incorporate found objects to develop pages that express a specific theme or a broader personal narrative. The result is a meaningful, one-of-a-kind journal that blends creativity, reflection, and reinvention.

Pet Policy: Visitors are NOT permitted to bring pets onto the WheatonArts campus. Only Service Dogs, as defined by the ADA, are welcome on the grounds.
