Parts 1 and 2 are each 15 hours and are only offered in-person. Part 1 is more didactic and focuses on the policies, procedures, and processes related to being a clinical supervisor in West Virginia. Part 2 is more experiential and dives further into the role of the clinical supervisor. We encourage anyone who is an ALPS or interested in becoming an ALPS to take both parts of the training to become familiar with West Virginia-specific requirements, gain clarification or a "refresh" on skills, and build community with other clinical supervisors.
