a morning to reconnect within, together, in silence + solitude

Alone Together is a silent beach meditation gathering held from 7–8am, inspired by the invitation in the book The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer and the ancient rhythm of Sabbath – a sacred pause in a culture of chronic hurry. In a world that constantly pulls at our attention, this hour is a gentle rebellion: a choice to slow down, quiet the noise of the modern world, and tune in to your own inner frequency. Together, we will share the shoreline in intentional silence – no phones, no conversation, no agenda – simply space to be.
You’re encouraged to bring a physical journal and fully disconnect from all devices for the hour. Solitude, by definition, is the state of being alone without being lonely; it is not isolation, but rather a deliberate and intentional practice of turning inward to listen more deeply. This is a morning to practice being alone together – anchored in stillness, grounded in nature, and reconnected to the quiet wisdom within.
"THERE IS A SECRET TO HAPPINESS, IT'S SIMPLE - PRESENCE TO THE MOMENT."
