Formed in Athens, Georgia, Allgood built a devoted following with a raw, guitar-driven sound rooted in boogie, blues, and extended improvisation, touring relentlessly and sharing stages with many of the era’s defining acts.Released in 1991, Ride The Bee captured the band at full throttle — road-tested, fearless, and overflowing with groove. Thirty-five years later, these songs still hit with the same urgency and swagger that made Allgood a staple of clubs, theaters, and festivals across the Southeast.The #RTB35 Spring Run brings these songs back to the stage, celebrating the album, the era, and the community that grew around the band — loud, loose, and played the way they were meant to be heard: live.
