Alley Cats is back at Falcon Bowl! Our quarterly hangout for anyone who loves Milwaukee’s community cats and wants to help 'em out ft. adoptable cats, cozy vibes, and easy ways to give back, all under one roof.
We’ll have cats in the Falcon Nest for meet-and-greets (first-come, first-served), games in Falcon Hall (yes, some are cat-themed!), and a donation station stocked with a wishlist of supplies. Bring what you can; priority items are listed below.
Grab a themed drink from the bar, and we’ll toss $1 from each one into the donation pot. Bowling more your thing? Games are $20, with half going to support the cause. Suggested donation at the door is $5–$10.
Maybe you’re looking to adopt. Maybe you just want to kick back with a drink and pet some cats. Either way, Alley Cats is where you’ll want to be. Come hang, it’s a good time for a good cause.
About Urban Cat Coalition:
Urban Cat Coalition is dedicated to helping create a no K*ll community by humanely reducing the community cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR). They conduct targeted trapping and support community cat caretakers by being a resource to provide guidance with trapping and colony care. They educate the community on cat overpopulation and the benefits of TNR.
About Falcon Bowl:
Founded in the late 1800s, Falcon Bowl has been a staple of Milwaukee’s Riverwest Neighborhood for over 120+ years. With the addition of the 6-lane basement bowling alley in 1915, Falcon Bowl has since been the 6th-oldest operating alley in the country.
With major renovations coming to all of Falcon Bowl, the intent is to bring a cultural hub and gathering place to the people of Riverwest. By developing local artists, hosting community workshops, fostering relationships, providing meeting spaces, and curating high-level performances, Falcon Bowl will accomplish these goals with the neighborhood and its residents at the forefront of every decision.
