This is a FREE Easter event with nothing edible, so it is friendly to those with allergies or who would enjoy a unique event without sugar. It is friendly to babies/ toddlers (just be aware of items that may be small enough to be swallowing/ choking hazards). We are thinking that everyone can come at 10:15 am and bring some plastic Easter eggs filled with small toys, erasers, pretty much anything that isn’t edible.
I’ll bring some activities and crafts for the kids to do on one side of the room, while we “hide” eggs (they will largely just be in plain sight) on the other side of the room.
Games will include ring toss, obstacle course stepping stones, bean bag toss, and more. I’ll also bring some crafts and coloring activities. There will be plenty to keep the kids busy! The venue also has hopscotch and a train table inside.
I’ll also bring a photo booth backdrop for taking pictures.
Then around 11 we can start the egg hunt. Bring a basket, bag, or bucket for your kids to use to pick up eggs (I’ll bring some bags if you forget).
We will probably have a limit of how many eggs each kid can pick up, to keep it fair so that all kids will get around the same number of eggs. Please count the eggs you bring to the event so that we know how many total get put out. If you can’t bring anything, that’s ok! Just let me know in advance so I can bring extra for you.
I have hosted similar events for Halloween; and they are always really fun! Please share this event with anyone you think would be interested!
