Allens Cross Cooking Club| June Session - BBQ Summer Sizzlers for Under £5

We are excited to launch our new monthly Allens Cross Cooking Club — a fun, friendly and budget-friendly cooking club focused on easy meals, big flavour and practical cooking skills.

This monthly class runs on the second Friday of every month from June–January, with a different seasonal cooking theme each session.

In this first June session, we’ll be making:
🍔 Budget-friendly BBQ burgers using soya mince
🥗 Simple toppings and sides
💡 Tips for stretching ingredients further and saving money on family meals!

Perfect for anyone wanting to:

Learn affordable new recipes
Cook healthy meals on a budget
Pick up simple cooking skills
Meet others in the community

No previous cooking experience needed!

Booking information:
A £2 booking deposit per session is required to help us secure spaces, plan ingredients and dietary requirements, and reduce no-shows. The deposit is refundable after attending the session (minus Eventbrite fees of approx £0.88).

These cooking classes are funded by Building Greener Communities project — an initiative helping local residents live more sustainably through skills, community connection and practical climate-friendly activities.
