"How to Make Your Church Green"

Join us in welcoming guest speaker Candace Darden. Candace is a lifelong Methodist from Georgia currently living in Florida. Working in various churches for 30 years, she became very aware of the waste that churches generate, and she implemented recycing programs in several churches where she served. She joined the Creation Care Task Team of the UMC Florida Conference in 2023. Candace loves giving talks on starting "green teams", how to be more aware of our usage of valuable Florida resources, and planting native plants.
