Join me on this lovely walk around Allean Forest. It's about 3 miles long. We will look at a restored 18th-century homestead and an ancient Pictish fort overlooking Loch Tummel.
It is one of my favourite autumn walks.
When: Tuesday 7th October 2025
Time: Meet at 9:50am, walk off at 10:00am
Grade: Easy - Moderate. One steep-ish slope. On forest paths.
Where: Allean Forest car park

There are also toilets in the car park. Hopefully, they will be open.
Parking: It is paid now and I think it is ยฃ3, payable by RingGo. It's a good idea to download and register the app prior to the walk due to the signal there.

This is an adult-only walk. Older children may join but must be able to walk at our pace.
Please note, that this is a social walk and not a race however the walk is not suitable for someone with babies and toddlers. Hope that it's ok.
Please bring water, appropriate hiking footwear, waterproofs, and a smile. ๐
Well-behaved dogs are welcome, on leads in areas with livestock. Off-lead when possible.
