Please join us for our quarterly neighborhood meeting where the focus topic will be walkability and traffic safety of our neighborhood. We are inviting the Downtown Residents Association and representatives from AARP to this meeting as well.Staff from the City's traffic engineering department will be presenting to group and discussion will focus on the following topics:
1. Citizen Engagement with Traffic Department (how should citizens report questions/comments/concerns to impact change)
2. 14th Street Safety: What are experiences of the neighbors from All Saints and DTSF and this busy street? How can traffic engineering increase safety for pedestrians and drivers?
3. Tre Ministries Development and Traffic Impacts:
a. 18th Street & Dakota/Minnesota Avenue Traffic Study: Update the neighborhood on the outcomes of the traffic study that was conducted during the re-zoning for the Tre Ministries project.
b. 19th Street Vacation: What are next steps in public input for the vacation of 19th & Dakota Avenue.
We will live stream this meeting for accessibility of our neighbors that aren't able to make it in-person.
