About this Event
This class is suitable for all levels of experience, from total novice to more advanced. We will start with a breath practice and move through the traditional astanga sequence with lots of time for guidance and assistance (and rest!).
The ethos of this class is for each attendee to find their own place of comfort (sukha) and stability (sthira) in each pose which gradually builds strength, flexibility, and joint and bone health, whilst enabling a regulated nervous system that can be taken off the mat and out into your daily lives.
Find us in the crypt, which is accessed via the side of the church.
We're unable to offer mats (yet!) so please bring your own - below is a link to some reasonably priced ones.

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in (not jeans) and be prepared to take off your shoes and socks.
