About this Event
Come follow climbers Hayden Wyatt, Vitaliy Musiyenko, and Christian Black as they embark on their first expedition to the Indian Himalaya, seeking to pioneer a new route on the White Sapphire (6,040m). This adventure was supported by the American Alpine Club's Cutting Edge Grant and Cedar Wright's Dirtbag Fund. This film follow the story of this unconventional team, reflects on their unique and unlikely journeys to alpinism, and humorously capturing the often-overlooked realities of high-altitude climbing. The film invites viewers along for the adventure, celebrating the freedom of self-expression no matter the altitude.
Doors at 7:00 and the screening begins at 7:30. The film has a 26 minute run time that will be followed by a Q and A with Christian Black. 100% of proceeds from this film will benefit the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA).
